Thank you for visiting the Website of our Contemporary Christian band, Ascension. It is our feeling that our Lord has given us a personal mission which is performed through the music we play. The purpose behind each of the songs we play is not only to entertain, but to enlighten, to inspire and, hopefully, to touch those listening with the message conveyed in the lyrics. Our songlist includes music from several Contemporary Christian bands and artists including Casting Crowns, Third Day, Kutless, Newsboys, Mercy Me, Jars of Clay, Paul Baloche, Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, and the list goes on. We also mix in some of our own originals. We are excited about the opportunities, challenges and experiences that we will have as God leads us on our mission journey.
